Dear Target, Does my story matter too?

aka I went to Target, so you don’t have to.

I visited Target to investigate the fuss myself. While I didn’t see (or recognize?) the infamous “tucking swimsuit” (that doesn’t mean it wasn’t there…I could have missed it), I did see some troubling stuff. After looking the swimsuit up, I might’ve seen it there and just not looked at the label. While this “tuck friendly” suit might be for adults (I’m still not totally clear if this was a swimsuit for adults or for children), this swim skirt available online is described as “Thoughtfully fit on multiple body types and gender expressions.”

Take a look at some of the photos from my trip below. Call it a boycott, voting with your dollars, or whatever you wish: if you find the pushing of this LGBTQ(etc.) revolting, I encourage you to refrain from purchasing from Target. If you must go into a Target, I recommend you don’t take kids in with you.

There are people struggling with same-sex attraction and/or gender dysphoria. These people need our support and encouragement in the battle, not stumbling blocks shoved in their faces. If you are reading this and you are actively fighting against this in your own life, you are not alone!

Bud at one of their entrances….is Bud Light Target’s business inspiration?

Aren’t parents supposed to be proud of their babies, not vice versa?

Since “silence=death” according to this calendar/planner thing, I hope my lack of silence via this post will be celebrated. Also of note, the item is printed in China (are these activists aware of the CCP/Uyghur situation?)

From someone with a grad degree in English, this candle is not English 101.
